Felix Gamezze is a Honduran-born photographer based in New York City. His interest in the art of photography began at The School of Journalism at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras in the late 80s where he was exposed to the different film photography techniques of the time. Later he went on to learn digital photography and videography at Lehman college as well as The York Film Academy. In this photographs series, he pushes the boundaries of double exposure technique and portraits to highlight the subjects based on their environment.

This series also explores the urban life of New York City and its people. The urban jungle shapes people’s life like no other city in the world and gives them a unique identity. The stories of the subjects are at the heart of the pieces, which by being treated with the double exposure technique in photoshop end up looking like a photographic sculpture, digital monuments of the people of New York. The series is composed of 50 pieces which are available for viewing upon request.

Other past works from the artist have been exhibited at the Bronx Museum Photo Stories in 2016, East Harlem International Film Festival, and the NY Film Academy screening Room.
